Urban/Rural Landscape- Digital Art

This is some of Stanley Donwood's work that I find really inspirational. I have to be careful not to copy the OK Computer cover artwork as it is probably my favorite digital piece about urban/modern life.

The perspective and repetition in this is kind of mesmerizing. I noticed arrows a lot while out taking photos. Must be careful not to resort to tropes. Infographics are also all over and I continue to be fascinated by their visual language and simplicity. Red and yellow are powerful and ubiquitous colors for attracting attention on signs, warnings, and advertisements.

The Hail to the Thief artwork is an incredible landscape. Plus it uses drips in a fantastic way, a difficult task with its over-saturated use due  in large part to graffiti culture's influence on t-shirts.
